This real-world challenge sparked a simple but powerful idea — what if logging in no longer required a password at all?

We brought this challenge to the table across our R&D and engineering teams. Ideas flowed freely, multiple approaches were debated, and several experiments were conducted to evaluate what would truly work in real-world scenarios. We deep-dived into modern authentication standards, security models, user experience patterns, and platform capabilities. Through continuous discussions, prototyping, and validation, we shaped a solution that is both practical and future-ready. From day one, our goal was clear — make eBuilderCMS 3.4 not just an upgrade, but a true uplift for the modern era.

I was fortunate to work with such a remarkable team. Everyone brought forward ideas, perspectives, and solutions, and together we evaluated, experimented, and refined them. By combining the best of these ideas with focused engineering and real-world validation, we were able to deliver something truly meaningful in eBuilderCMS 3.4.

Today, I’m excited to share that this vision is now a reality with the launch of eBuilderCMS 3.4, powered by ASP.NET 10 and introducing native Passkey authentication.

With passkeys, you can sign in to eBuilderCMS using a secure credential stored on your phone, laptop, or trusted password manager. Whether it’s Windows Hello, Apple Touch ID / Face ID, Google Password Manager, or another passkey-enabled device, there is no username, no password, and no typing sensitive information on unfamiliar machines. Just a quick biometric or device confirmation — and you’re in.

This is not just more convenient. It is fundamentally more secure.

Passkeys are phishing-resistant and tied to your device, making them extremely difficult to steal or misuse. It’s a major step toward a truly passwordless future, and we’re proud to bring this capability directly into eBuilderCMS.

While passkeys are the headline feature of this release, eBuilderCMS 3.4 also delivers significant improvements behind the scenes.

Powered by ASP.NET 10, this version runs with a smaller memory and processor footprint, loads pages faster, and handles requests more efficiently. These platform-level improvements translate directly into smoother browsing, faster admin screens, and better performance under high traffic — all within the eBuilderCMS ecosystem.

In addition, eBuilderCMS 3.4 includes:
